    Due to its numerous risks and hazards, drug abuse is one of the most serious problems threatening our societies today. Hence, higher education and research institutions around the world have always participated in the battle against drug abuse fulfilling their expected role of providing governments and other institutions with strategies and effective plans to spread awareness of its risks and hazards. As part of its pioneering efforts in providing everything that can protect society and enhance the safety of its youth, King Abdulaziz University hosts this conference upholding its central theme: towards an effective awareness strategy against the risks and hazards of drug abuse.
